Terms & Privacy Policy
Last updated 14 August 2026
discprofiles.eu is operated by IPB Partners OÜ (“we”, “us”), registered in Tallinn, Estonia, a Diamond-level Authorized Partner for Everything DiSC®. This page explains how we handle personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and sets out the terms for using our products and services. By using our site or services, you agree to the practices described here.
Who is responsible for your data
For most of what this policy covers, IPB Partners OÜ is the data controller: when you fill in a form on this site, take the free DiSC test, or sign up for updates, we decide why and how that data is used.
When we deliver a contracted training, certification, or assessment programme for a business client, we may act as a data processor on that client’s behalf, handling participant data strictly under the terms of a written data processing agreement and the client’s instructions.
Questions about either role can be sent to hello@discprofiles.eu.
Our principles
We only process personal data when we have a lawful basis to do so, we collect no more than we need, we keep it accurate, we protect it with technical and organisational safeguards, and we only work with partners who commit to the same standards in writing.
What personal data we collect
- Identity and contact details: name, email address, phone number, company
- Service data: enquiries, quotes, agreements, payment history, support requests
- Assessment data: your answers and results when you take a DiSC or Five Behaviors® assessment
- Feedback: satisfaction surveys, testimonials, references you choose to give us
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, collected via cookies and analytics (see below)
Why we process it, and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Preparing quotes, delivering a service, post-service follow-up | Performance of a contract |
| Accounting and other statutory obligations | Legal obligation |
| Responding to enquiries and support requests | Legitimate interest / contract |
| Sending you information about our services | Legitimate interest, or your consent where required |
| Running campaigns, newsletters, or events you opt into | Consent |
| Website analytics and improving our content | Consent (non-essential cookies) or legitimate interest |
“Legitimate interest” means we have weighed our interest in running and improving our business against your right to privacy, and concluded our processing is proportionate and expected.
Where your data is stored and international transfers
We primarily use service providers based in the EU/EEA. Some tools we rely on (for example, Everything DiSC®/Wiley’s EPIC and Catalyst™ platforms, and certain hosting or security providers) may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under GDPR, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, and we only share the minimum data necessary.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for. Accounting records are kept for 7 years as required by Estonian law. Enquiry and marketing data is kept until you ask us to delete it or, if inactive, for up to 3 years. Assessment results are kept for as long as needed to deliver your report and any related certification record, unless you request earlier deletion.
Your rights under GDPR
- Access – know what data we hold about you and how we use it
- Rectification – correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure – ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements
- Restriction – limit how we use your data in certain circumstances
- Objection – object to processing based on legitimate interest, including direct marketing at any time
- Portability – receive data you gave us in a portable format, where processing is automated and consent-based
- Withdraw consent – at any time, without affecting processing that already took place
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@discprofiles.eu. We aim to respond within one week and may need to verify your identity first.
Data breaches
If you become aware of a personal data breach affecting our systems, please tell us immediately at hello@discprofiles.eu. We take data security seriously and will investigate and respond without undue delay, notifying affected individuals and the supervisory authority where required by law.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. We ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie, and you can change your preferences at any time.
- Essential cookies – required for the site to function (e.g. security, spam protection); these do not require consent
- Analytics cookies – help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it
- Marketing cookies – used to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns, only set with your consent
You can also block cookies at any time through your browser settings, though this may affect how parts of the site work.
Children
Our products and services are intended for working professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
