Everything DiSC Pricing and EPIC Credits Explained
The first question most HR and L&D buyers ask about Everything DiSC is the price. The honest answer is that there’s no single number, and the reason comes down to a system called EPIC that most first-time buyers have never heard of.
Here’s what actually drives Everything DiSC cost, how the credit system works, and what to have ready when you ask for a quote.
Why there’s no price list on the wall
Everything DiSC isn’t sold as one product at one price. It’s a family of programs, Workplace, Management, Sales, Productive Conflict, Agile EQ, Work of Leaders, and more, each with its own report format and its own cost per profile. On top of that, pricing is handled through a credit system rather than a direct per-report invoice. Both of those together are why you won’t find a simple price tag on a product page.
What EPIC actually is
EPIC is the backend administration platform Wiley built for both Everything DiSC and The Five Behaviors. It’s where a facilitator or HR administrator sends assessment invitations, tracks who has completed theirs, and generates the finished reports. Every organization running these programs at any scale ends up with an EPIC account, whether they set it up themselves or a partner manages it for them.
For a walkthrough of the reporting side once assessments are complete, see our guide on downloading reports from EPIC.
How the credit system works
Instead of buying a fixed number of Workplace reports or Management reports separately, you load credits into your EPIC account. Each time a participant completes an assessment and you generate their report, a set number of credits is deducted, and the number varies by which Everything DiSC or Five Behaviors product you’re running. Credits sit in one shared pool, so a single account can fund a mix of Workplace, Management, and Productive Conflict reports across the same rollout.
Two features matter most for budgeting. Credits don’t expire, so unused ones roll over into next year’s training plan instead of disappearing. And larger purchases bring the per-credit cost down, so a company running one big rollout pays less per report than one buying credits five at a time throughout the year. Exact per-credit pricing varies by region and reseller, which is why we quote it directly rather than publishing a fixed number here.
What actually determines your total cost
Four factors do most of the work in any quote:
- Number of participants. This is the biggest single driver, and the one volume pricing is built around.
- Which program you run. Workplace, Management, Productive Conflict, Sales, and Agile EQ each carry a different credit cost per report.
- Facilitation. A facilitation kit is a one-time purchase separate from per-participant credits. If you’re bringing in an outside facilitator instead of running it internally, that’s an additional line item.
- Certification, if you want it. Getting your own team certified to facilitate is a separate cost from the assessments themselves, worth factoring in if you plan to run DiSC repeatedly. See our guide to Everything DiSC certification for what that involves.
A simple way to budget before you ask for a quote
Work out three numbers before you reach out: how many people will take the assessment in the next twelve months, which program fits your goal (our overview of what DiSC is can help if you’re still deciding), and who will run the sessions, your own team or an outside facilitator. With those three answers, a quote takes minutes instead of rounds of back and forth.
Setting up your first EPIC account
If you’ve never run Everything DiSC before, you don’t set up EPIC access on your own. A distributor sets up the account for you and loads it with the credits you’ve purchased. From there, you or your facilitator sends assessment invitations directly through the platform, participants complete their assessment online, and finished reports become available for download once each person is done. There’s no separate software to install, it’s browser-based. If you’d rather not set this up yourself, you can order EPIC account opening directly from us — get in touch and we’ll take care of it for you.
If you’re planning to run DiSC regularly rather than as a one-off, it’s worth setting up the account with enough credits for the full year rather than topping up every few months. Since credits don’t expire, there’s no downside to buying ahead once you know roughly how many people you’ll be assessing.
Mistakes that inflate the bill unnecessarily
The most common one is buying credits in small batches instead of committing to a volume that matches the actual rollout size, which means paying the higher per-credit rate repeatedly instead of once. The second is picking the wrong program for the audience, for example ordering Management reports for a general staff rollout that would have been better served by Workplace, and then re-running assessments once the mismatch becomes obvious. Both are avoidable by nailing down participant count and program choice before you buy — our Which DiSC Profile Should I Choose? tool can help with that.
Get an actual number
Because pricing depends on your program mix, participant count, and region, the fastest way to get a real figure is to ask directly. Get in touch with your participant count and the program you’re leaning toward, and we’ll send back a straightforward quote in EUR rather than a rough estimate.
